ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our customer is a leading technology services provider operating across Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, including Papua New Guinea and several other Southeast Asian markets. The organisation supports enterprise and government clients with IT infrastructure, managed services, and digital transformation initiatives. With a distributed footprint across multiple countries, they managed a complex and diverse IT environment spanning data centre hardware, networking equipment, and enterprise systems from multiple OEMs. Prior to engaging EXEO Global, their infrastructure support model relied heavily on various vendors with different delivery standards.
THE CHALLENGE
They faced increasing challenges in managing IT maintenance costs and operational complexity across its multi-country footprint. This is especially so for legacy and
end-of-life hardware that are critical to operations in countries like Papua New Guinea.
In addition, the organisation experienced inconsistent service levels across different countries, fragmented vendor management, and difficulty in standardising support processes across APAC. These issues created operational inefficiencies, increased downtime risk for critical systems, and placed pressure on IT budgets. They required a more unified, cost-effective, and scalable support model without compromising service quality or system availability.
THE EXEO GLOBAL SOLUTION
EXEO Global implemented a tailored independent hardware maintenance strategy designed to consolidate and optimise their multi-vendor infrastructure support across the APAC region. The approach focused on simplifying vendor management, extending hardware lifecycles, and reducing dependency on costly OEM contracts while maintaining enterprise-grade service levels.
The solution was delivered through a centralised support framework covering multiple countries, ensuring consistent SLAs, streamlined escalation processes, and improved visibility across the entire infrastructure estate.
RESULTS
Through the adoption of EXEO Global’s TPM solution, they are able to achieve a more efficient, cost-effective, and scalable approach to infrastructure support across its APAC operations. The transformation reduced operational complexity while improving service consistency and asset longevity. This positioned our customer to better support its regional customers, optimise IT spending, and build a more resilient infrastructure foundation for future growth across diverse and geographically dispersed markets.
